3.0 out of 5 stars Ok...., August 13, 2005
This review is from: A Haunted Place (Paperback)
It was ok, but you can pretty much tell who was doing everything to Jane from the beginning when she meets Dr.Frazier. It's also a little dumb to me that they would keep Jane around instead of dropping her off somewhere because of her "cursed" red hair that made all the plague ghosts come back.

from the back cover-

"'She has brought the death with her!' Touring in France, lovely American actress Jane Shore took a wrong turn, ran out of gas-and found herself in deep trouble. For her car came to a stop before the village of St. Lazare, the Dead Village, totally abandoned five centuries ago, after being wiped out by leprosy. But with Jane's arrival, weird events began. There were ghosts walking0and the neighboring village of Marie-des-Mortes blame Jane for arousing them!

With no way to flee, Jane was attacked by two forces: the subtly vicious menace of the supposedly dead, and the open hatred of the living. Dr.Duncan Frazier the only man who could help her, seemed cruelly indifferent. And her horror grew stronger as both forces, instead of fighting each other, began to join in a conspiracy against her!"
