This book was one of the best on investigations into the paranormal. It is a very fast read and you also get to do interactive studies on the web to go with the book. The writers take you on a tour of each supposed haunted place in Michigan. They make you feel like you are actually with them as they investigate. The book is definitly worth buying!! After reading, you want to visit every haunted place.

This book seems very slim when you first pick it up-but once you take a look, and participate in the on-line aspect of it, it's one you'll want to keep. I have an entire library of books on the paranormal, and I am pleased to add this one as well. Kathleen and Beverlee have done their homework,they have done the grunt work too, and it shows. They take you along with them on their paranormal investigations, and allow you to come to your own conclusions when the evidence is reveiwed. They fact check, they re-investigate, they do everything they can to de-bunk what they find, so they are not hyped up ghost groupies! I was impressed with their research of the families and locations investigated, and the high standard of evidence they hold themselves to. A very interesting read, and the web interactive portion is not only clever, I guarantee it will raise the hair on the back of your neck several times. I highly reccommend it to one and all.

I am an avid reader of books on the paranormal. This book is one of the best I've read! It's obvious a lot of historical research was done for each story. It was well written and really made me feel like I was on the ghost hunt with the writers. The website allows you to hear and see the evidence collected. This is a must read for anyone interested in ghosts, hauntings and the paranormal!

I'll start off by saying this...I don't read books very often. Really, I don't read books ever. But I was doing some looking around about hauntings in Michigan and came across this book, so I ordered a copy. As is par for the course, it arrived quickly with Amazon's fantastic shipping.

I've read through a couple of the stories, and I have to say that they are pretty good. I really enjoy reading about the research BEFORE the actual investigation. It's very interesting to find out about some of the history of places that have been all around me my entire life that I would have never imagined existed. For instance, I knew there was a Fort Wayne in Detroit, but I had no clue about it's use as a hospital for various things during two different wars, and how many people could have potentially passed away there.

The investigation portion of each story is also interesting to me. I find the accounts to be well documented and written in a manner that is easy to follow. On top of that, after reading about each account, you can then go to the web site and actually see and hear the evidence that the investigators are coming up with.

Overall, I've really enjoyed the book and look forward to finishing the last few stories. I also look forward to getting the second volume of the book.

Heard about this book from the internet, have always been interested in the paranormal. This book covers not only the reported haunts but the history be hind them. Very indepth, could not put it down. Would highly recomend to anyone interested in the paoanormal and history of Michigan.

Being a Michigander and even an old employee of one of the places in the book, and absolutely loving ghost hunting, I couldn't have found a BETTER book! not to mention it was hard to find at the public library always being checked out! but regardless once I ordered it, got it, I loved it! I cant wait to order the 2nd one and read that!!

I have read both books - 1 and 2. And both are amazing and exciting. Bev and Kathleen are wonderful people and I am proud to call them my friends who I've seen many times. I would recommend this book as a good read (well both books) and the interactive website as well is a wonderful touch to the story! Great job guys!

I loved reading this book about Michigan ghost hunts. This book puts you right in the ghost hunt. It has great history about the haunted location as well as interative EVPs & video via a secret password to find on the website. With all this information and interactive material this book puts you right there with them in the ghost hunting adventure. Can't wait for the next Haunted Travels book!!!!
