This is a treasure trove of interesting audio excerpts, many of which you won't find elsewhere and which, as a collection, I find very helpful for teaching and explaining various auditory innovations. Toop's fortunate experience of an era of huge musical evolution and experimentation is thoughtfully unravelled in the associated book. That I also recommend highly. Interweaving social anecdotes with dense factual information, his writing is thoroughly interesting and covers much ground.
