3.0 out of 5 stars Mot Haunted State
This book examines the most haunted American state, Wisconsin. A religous cash in by a pilgrim quaker couple; not the best on the market but most famous.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will utterly fascinate Wisconsin history buffs, February 5, 2002
This review is from: Haunted Wisconsin (Paperback)
Wisconsin is best known as the Dairy State and renowned for cheese, recreation, and one of the finest state university systems in the country. What most people might not realize is that Wisconsin is also home to some of the eeriest supernatural events and strangest ghost stories sworn to be true. Indeed, Wisconsin could well be considered as one of the most haunted of the 50 states. All this is documented in newly revised and updated edition of Michael Norman and Beth Scott's Haunted Wisconsin, a classic and superbly presented compendium of true ghost stories and eye-witness accounts of supernatural occurrences. Haunted Wisconsin showcases an aspect of the Badger State that will utterly fascinate Wisconsin history buffs and students of the paranormal.

Great stuff for the coffee table up at our WI cottage. People seem to like it. If you're in that mood, and want to read a Wisconsin ghost story or two, this is a good choice. People don't realize that Wisconsin is (allegedly, for you non-believers) one of the most haunted states. Tons of paranormal activity reported in WI. No surprise really, with all the old farms and farmhouses, ancient woods and lakes, and all its great history. Have fun with it.

Haunted Wisconsin is a fun read. If you are looking for great tales with a good history lesson included, you will enjoy this book. The book documents ghosts and hauntings across Wisconsin, but anyone from anywhere can enjoy this easy read. If you are looking for serious hauntings and ghost tales, this is not the book for you. Happy reading!
