5.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgic Trip, September 18, 2003
This review is from: The Haunting of Captain Snow: Book 2 The Eel Grass Girls Mysery Series (The Eel Grass Girls Mysteries) (Paperback)
"The Haunting of Captain Snow" was a nostalgic trip back to my childhood when adventure, fun and discovery were kid powered and not battery operated. A true reflection of growing up in a less formidable period of time.

5.0 out of 5 stars In the Wake of Nancy Drew, November 18, 2003

This review is from: The Haunting of Captain Snow: Book 2 The Eel Grass Girls Mysery Series (The Eel Grass Girls Mysteries) (Paperback)
These mysteries definately have teeth. Plot lines are unpredicatable; readers will uncover clues with the Eel Grass Girls and work just as hard to figure out how the pieces fit together as the stories romp along, always engaging and often a bit frightening. Even adult readers will experience that rewarding "A-ha!" moment when all the facts fall into place.Heather

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Amazing, June 8, 2003

This review is from: The Haunting of Captain Snow: Book 2 The Eel Grass Girls Mysery Series (The Eel Grass Girls Mysteries) (Paperback)
I have read The Haunting of Captain Snow twice, (actually the first time I read the manuscript). The book is really long, 330 pages and 84 chapters, but it's totally worth it to spend the time reading it! The book is about The Eel Grass Girls, (who else), in their pursue to find out what is haunting the old haunted house of Captian Snow. They come across a wicked coven of witches, a strange coyote, cold winds in the house, and many more stange and mysteryious things. The book is so long and has so many scary, fun and mysterious things in it that I can't mention everything, but I can say that this was one of the best books I have ever read and I recommend it to everyone.
