This Card isn't quite like the normal WINTVR-1600. It has the addition of a fm tuner as well, which surprised me when I opened the box. This card WILL, however drastically affect the heat output of your system. This card is doing a lot of work, and it outputs at a heat level to match

This is a perfect match for those running windows xp media center 2005. It gives your old Pentium IV new life. The channels come in crystal clear and the radio function takes your pc to new heights. Anyone needing a hdtv card for there pc needs this card. It meets the requirement of haveing an analog tuner and the two tuners record at the sane time. I have a really cheap antenna and it locks on fully to all the channels I have the antenna faced at. I did't need the remote either because I use my Xbox to watch my tv recordings not my computer. Hope you all get this card becuase it rocks. I am replacing my two pvr 150s with another one of these bad boys.

Works great with Linux, Ubuntu 9.04 with MythTV.
I'm using S-video from the Dish feed and an antenna for the HDTV.
It's nice to be able to pause and rewind over-the-air broadcasts.
Now I can save both inputs as mpg to view later.
The S-video input is also being used to input from the VHS recorder. I'm copying VHS tapes to mpg computer files. In the times of HDTV the VHS seems a very small frame size.
I like the RCA plugs for sound in. This is an easier hookup than my other Hauppauge that uses 1/8 inch stereo.
I'm not using the FM or any software that came with the unit.

Ended up going to CompUSA to purchase this item. PC Universe (via Amazon) shipped me the incorrect product and have not refunded my money to date.

Once purchased from CompUSA, product is great. Not using the remote that came with, but a Windows Media Center remote. Great product! Be sure to purchase an antenna!

this gives you the impression it works with xp it does not, you don't get win tv just drivers. so it can do nothing unless you have window 7 media center. tech support hung up on me, they can kiss my ass. will never buy their products again.

i wound up going with the 1800 on a vista capable system, have not looke dback.

Purchased and installed in a new PC running Windows XP. Card totally dead. Would not register analog or digital channels, or video devices plugged into the S-Video slot. Returning for full refund.
