I have downloaded Hauri's ViRobot 5.5 a long time ago.
About 2 years ago, I switched to a different anti-virus ware since my company bought the site license, I had to remove the ViRobot. I still can't remove this darn thing that takes up about 70 MB of my disk. The company staff gave me an incorrect information on the removal.
Now lots of complaints are in the net since it has been extremely difficult to remove the software.

The software works very well, but dealing with the company can be a nightmare.

It is odd that this version 4.0 is still on Amazon for sale. The product is now up to v.5.5 and has advanced a lot since the old days of 4.0. ViRobot has added spyware scanning/protection as well as a firewall.

I have used Hauri ViRobot for about 6 years and have never had a problem with it. Zero infections, and I spend a lot of time on the Net every day. You might think that its full scans run slowly but what does it matter? Just let it scan in the background and go about your business. It is easy on resources so you barely notice it's scanning (if your computer has at least normal power). If you are going to sleep for the night you can start a full scan and tell it to shut down your computer when it finishes the scan.

Tech support is OK, ATC. Company is in South Korea and their english is not perfect but they answer emails next day and manage to explain things in an adequate manner.

Download it from their site, updates come out at least once a day. Renewals are offered at a discount.

I got pcSecurity Shield which uses hauri's viRobot expert 4.0 . Even though I had all updates regularly, viRobot service running still my laptop got infected by w97M virus. I lost atleast an hour on uninstall and reinstalling. Please stay away from Hauri and PC Security Shield(using Hauri in their software).
