I'm so sensitive to perfumes (despite loving them) that I'm always on the hunt for "interesting smelling" products that don't give me migraine headaches, fits of sneezing, or hives with their ingredients. I discovered Dr. Hauschka's Body Silk when faffing around on their website and noted that it was a good complement to their Floral deodorant, which I love. I figured that with a hot summer ahead, then an equally hot winter stuffed into woolen sweaters, I needed to check this product out.
The powder is grainier than the super-fine powders I was used to, and the fragrance was vaguely spicy. I sprinkled it on a fluffy applicator, dusted myself silly, then went off to work. Throughout the day, I emanated :-) a glamorous woody fragrance that seemed different from what I'd applied that morning (which was spicy). It was very subtle, but when a collegue leaned over my computer to look at a chart, she complimented on my perfume and wanted to know what it was. My husband loves it too and describes it as "sophisticated". It's supposedly a unisex fragrance, and I'm curious if it smells the same on everybody or changes with body chemistry.
The powder works very well, and I always feel cool and dry despite the humidity of the day. I've used it every day since, even during winter, and I recommend it without reservation.
