It does heal blemishes, sometimes I even put it on before bed time and by the morning I can tell that they have gone down in size and redness significantly. I've tried both the 01 and 02 and must say they are very light in color so unfortunatelly this will only work for people with fair to medium-fair skin. I'm NW (warm) 15-20 and the 02 is perfect, the 01 was too light even for me. I do know that it lasts much longer if it is set with a light dust of powder (I used to wear it without powder and within a few hours it was off my face). I also use a small brush (like Urban Decay multi-tasker) to get the last bit out of the tube because there is still a lot left when the stick part is gone (like the lipstick tubes) and the only way to get to it is by using a long brush. It is pricey so you want to use every little bit up. I still keep repurchasing because I am having such a hard time finding a foundation or concealer that lasts all day, matches my complection, doesn't irritate and show of my acne scars and imperfections. This little stick does almost all that, except lasts all day (I took one star off for that) but maybe it's not such a bad trade off, I can always carry it with me and reapply since it is very easy to use and if it's set with powder, it lasts at leasts 5-6 hours without reapplying it, depending on the weather and how oily ones' skin is.

I did not care for this coverstick. it didn't cover as well as I would have hoped. I do however love almost all of the other products from Dr Hauschka.

I think the price is a little bit on a high end, but it is not just a regular cover stick; it is a spot treatment solution that actually heals your blemishes. It consists of tree and manuca oils, which are well known for their therapeutic qualities. The only problem I see with this product is that it comes only in 2 light colors: #01 - fair and #02 - beige. I have fair skin and I wish #02 was a little bit darker. I can only imagine how light #01 is!
Of course, you can save a lot of money and treat your blemishes with a watered down tea tree oil, but you cannot use it before going out because it has a very strong smell (if you ever bought pure tea tree oil, you know what I'm talking about) + it doesn't hide your little imperfections. This is the reason why Dr Hauschka's cover stick is always in my bag!
