Most deodorant/antiperspirant products do not agree with my body chemistry, and they left me smelling distinctly and unpleasantly "chemical". I dutifully switched to natural deodorants and then went through a whole host of products that didn't work or left a sticky residue on my armpits (and then didn't work anyway.) Disgusting.

I bought Dr. Hauschka's Floral deodorant after reading a review in a magazine in which the reviewer described her active day, including an aggressive workout, using this deodorant and her happiness with the results. I have since been through many bottles of this product myself and am similarly pleased with it.

The fragrance is lovely and very feminine. My husband thought it was a new perfume and was very surprised to hear it was my deodorant. It smells like roses with a little sandalwood - both old-fashioned and exotic at the same time. I'm allergic to most perfumes despite loving them, and anything that smells this nice makes me wistfully wonder why so many new fragrances smell so cheap and gross.

The trick to using this deodorant is to let it dry very thoroughly before getting dressed. Depending on your body chemistry (and maybe your diet - I'm vegetarian and don't drink coffee), you might be able to get away with only one application a day. Otherwise, you may need two.

This isn't an antiperspirant, so getting used to moist armpits in the summer can be a little difficult. I use Dr. Hauschka's Body Silk along with this, and it helps. The plus to using these products is that even when I ditch a sweaty midsummer-humid-in-the-city worn blouse, it smells beautiful despite my sweating like a beast (and there's no nasty stains to horrify the cleaners with.)

This is worth every penny to me.

This deodorant doesn't do much for me. I have to reapply it 4 times during the day if I want it to even barely work. When will someone make a deodorant without harsh chemicals that actually works?!

I'm bummed, it was really expensive, and I really wanted it to work, but it just doesn't.

The scent is absolutely lovely! Such a gorgeous fragrance for the under arms. Makes me feel like I'm at a beautiful spa and I feel very feminine and attractive while using this product. Quite a romantic experience for a few seconds of the day while applying Dr. Hauschka's Floral Scent. Easy to use and lasts for awhile. Does not last all day because it is natural and eventually I do sweat. Sweating is good by the way because it releases toxins which is very important for physical health. When it wears off I just apply more. This is small enough to carry in your purse for a quick re-application in the ladies room. For years I was using Burts Bees deodorant which works great but I wanted to switch it up. Am very pleased...
