5.0 out of 5 stars Ankle weights
If one is in need of ankle weights to help strengthen the joints, tendens, ligaments, muscles of knees and hips, these weighted ankle straps are excellent. The product is not too wide, it is easy to strap on with the wide velcro attachment, easy to remove, and easy to store, as the velcro rolls up compactly and does not cling to other wieghts. It suits my purposes...

3.0 out of 5 stars Made in Taiwan
I spent $80 on these thinking they were manufactured in the USA. Had troubles with my shipment so meanwhile I had to purchase a $15 pair from Wal-Mart. When I found out that the the Hausmanns were made in Taiwan I was very disappointed. While they are good quality, the ones I got from Wal-Mart are also good quality and do the job for alot less. It suits my purposes perfectly--in fact, I am going to also order the 4 and 5 pound weights (I have the 1-pound, 2-pound and 3-pound), for I will soon be ready for a heavier weight -- with 5-pounds my limit. It is a good, sturdy product.

Can't tell you how many pairs of ankle weights I've had (at least 5). The hard bar insert weights bruised my ankles, the cloth filled with sand wore out very quickly. These conform nicely to my ankles and are very comfortable when worn over socks(plastic outer with inner pellets). The velcro could use some work (or perhaps I am unique), but the uncovered velcro sticks to my work out pants (spandex). Best buy for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Made, September 29, 2008
The Hausmann wrist/ankkle weights are very well made with a good velcro strap. Do not get them through Isokinetics, Inc however, they are totaly incompetent.

These weights seem to hold up well. I am a home health physical therapist and use these with my patients. I like them because they're easy to clean.

I bought a pair of Hausmann's 5 pound weights. They are well made and comfortable to wear. I've been using them nearly every day since I got them almost a month ago. I first began using them in my physical therapist's gym, and wanted a pair for home. I'm pleased with my purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hausmann Wrist/Ankle Weight Sold Individually - Brown - 10 lbs, May 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It does not fit snugly to the area applied because the divisions are equally shaped therefore it slips when you raise the leg. It appears to be too bulky.
