It contains western clothing as it was worn in The Netherlands, but also the leading international fashion and the matching accessories and jewellery. On the basis of approximately forty of the best pieces from the private collection, the book outlines the development of international fashion. The book features many contemporary designers such as Chanel, Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Issey Miyake and Yves St. Laurent.

This was a wonderful book, great photography, lots of information. You can tell the author put a lot of research into the book. I'd recommend this to anyone really heavy into fashion: Fashion students, designers looking for inspiration/info, etc.
