On a late summer trip motoring across Europe, I found this petite pocket guide ooohhh soooo French. Although my thoughts were in English, I could pronounce the local wines, cheeses and restaurant dishes with some confidence. My only foe paw was ordering souffle' glace' expecting a gloriously mile high dessert and instead receiving a delightfully frozen demi cup of ice cream...the souffle' waits for no one, so why wait? Order this little gem now!

What a great little book. It should be required reading for food lovers as well as food servers. For the stiff American tongues, it provides an easy way to correctly order in the best restaurants with confidence and style. Magnifique!
