I don't understand, amazon only lists the contents of disc two here, at a price of around $50 this can not be.

I reviewed Havana Jam I, this has some of the same artists, but seems more geared towards Jazz and other instrumentals, with Weather Report and John McGlaughlin's Trio of Doom.

Questions remain on what one would be getting on this cd, but rest assured, the Havana Jam series has excellent music, yet, much more costly, than what I might expect. If interested in this music, you may wish to check the Havana Jam I page.

Because of lack of info, and that I can not just give it no stars, I place it right in the middle with 3 star.

Weather Report or/and McGlaughlin completists may wish to purchase these discs however, for their collections. The performances will not let you down and they are presented in a very rich context.

Recently found version 1 of this collection (GEMM) Great performances, however it is the version 2 that is the best of...Why!? Dexter Gordon! His rendition of "Polka Dots & Moon Beams" (not to mention the scream'n Cuban trumpeters) is worth the price [and the ordeal of finding] this recording.
If somebody comes accross this #2, burn a copy & place it with Amazon!
We all suffer at the hands of these record company executives, with their greedy hands on those locked vaults-priceless film and tapes.

This is the most amazing performance I have ever heard on record!! I should have bin there, you all should!!!! GREAT music!!! Great performances,I guess that was a magic night! Arturo is really great, as always!! To bad its so rare!! Good luck finding it!!
