This review is from: Havana (Mass Market Paperback)
Great read if you like star-crossed-lovers stories. See the movie for a moving experience. Redford's character, Jack Weil, is the coolest customer since James Bond, without the silliness. He walks into the gambling dens of pre-Castro Cuba looking for the high-stakes poker games at which he makes his living. He gets a life-changing slap instead. If Humphrey 'Richard Blaine' Bogart ever had a son, it would be Jack Weil. The eternal lovers' triangle....odd man out.
