This is an unfortunate title for a book that contains a lot of great ideas. I suggest you ignore the mass-market-appeal title and focus on the great idea that it contains, such as reminding the reader of her innate genius, remembering the power of presence, focusing on one's life dreams and committing absolutely to causing them to manifest in the world. There is a lot of great food for the soul in this book, which is why simply call it "The Amazing Life book". No matter how spiritua or awake you are, if you approach it with a beginner's mind, you're likely to find some authentic inspiration in it for crafting an even more amazing life for yourself. Now go do it! The world is waiting for you to shine in all of your brilliancy and genius (and a book like this supports you in this process).

Dr John F. Demartini's approach is straightforward and informative. He keeps his concepts simple, yet powerful in transforming your current way of looking at life to a broader perspective. I am grateful to be able to stand on the shoulders of giants like Dr Demartini and have the ability to sift through my perceptions and embrace alternative ones that guide me to do what I love and love what I do.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is willing to transform their lives and follow his exercises at the end of each chapter. This small investment of time is monumental in changing your life.

Love and Laughter

This book is a great read. The first time you read it all the way through and the second you read one chapter a day and reflect upon the meanings and words of wisdom and power. Every night before I go to bed, I would read each chapter and really put my heart and mind into what each lesson had.
Reading it through the second time gave me an even deeper connection to myself and allowed me to bring out my own wisdom, as each chapter you can write what is inspirational to you.

There is some great thinking information in this book. If you are a little off your game, get the book... then hold yourself accountable to actually take some of the actions he talks about.

I met the author once, April 2003 in the O'Hare airport lounge. He embodies all the qualities that he writes about in his book. I have never seen someone so completely comfortable in their own skin that it made me incredibly nervous. I remember initially not wanting to engage in conversation with him. Eventually he stared me down and drew me in. As we were talking I kept looking for his faults or something to indicate that he was just like everyone else, outwardly confident and inwardly insecure, but I couldn't find it, his Achilles Heel. Years later, I come across Dr. DeMartini speaking in the movie "The Secret", to me it was a sign to read his book. His message is clear and obvious and the irony is how simple it is to have an Amazing Life. I am on my way.

The material is very inspirational. Gives me hope and motivates me to get busy to improve my life.

If you are only going to read one book from Dr Demartini then this is the one. If you have read other books by this author, I think this is just a summary of all his books. Love this author but don't feel he challenged himself on this one.
