This story is charming and a true comedy of errors.

The majority of the book involves flashbacks, and sometimes I didn't mind, but others I got a bit frustrated with it a bit.

Brief story but enjoyable. mostly told through flashbacks. the characters meet, immediately knew something special has occurred, but because of a family feud lasting centuries their situation is difficult. Though they make plans to be together 3 times, something comes up, or misunderstanding, or family gets in the way. I sometimes get frustrated when reading about situations that could be straightened out if only they were discussed before someone acted too quickly and made a mess of things, but in all a nice quick read.

Just what every Lady wants. To meet her true love while trapped in a patch of thorns--with her skirts well and truly stuck over her head. ::snort:: It's really quite the first impression and one that left Crispin smitten with the impulsive, yet charming, Lady Henrietta and willing to go against a centuries long family feud if it meant having the one he loved. *girly sigh*

It's been ten years since that first meet and Crispin and Henrietta have managed to get themselves locked in a wine cellar after going in search of a wayward puppy. They've not seen each other for quite a spell and while they wait for someone to discover them their story unfolds in a series of flashbacks to all of their "moments" together over the years as they tried to grab hold of their happily ever after but kept having it slip through their fingers because of meddling families, wars, misunderstandings and marriages. Some were sweet memories, some gigglesnort worthy, and some rather heartbreaking. But in every one the two, despite the circumstances that had kept them apart, just fit back together and felt whole. Like they were meant to be together no matter the bumps and bruises along the way.

I really liked Crispin and Henrietta right from the start. The two, despite their families, just have a spark between them and a way about them that made me smile. They've had such a hard time making their way to each other and damn I so wanted them to finally make it happen. Have You Any Rogues? was a quick read and just what I was looking for on a lazy winter afternoon. The flashbacks were nicely done, the romance pretty believable and it even managed to have a couple rather steamy scenes. Not bad at all for one little novella.

**I do think 1.99 was a little pricey for length (didn't seem quite as long as the page amount indicated) but it was very nicely written and enjoyable so hard to complain too loudly on that front.

A sweet, lovely story about love finally conquering all, Have You Any Rogues? was a wonderful historical romance novella. It was sweet, romantic, and a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Henrietta was a good heroine, for the most part. She was a strong character who was determined to live life on her own terms. Thing is, that came with some drawbacks. I didn't understand why her first response to having doubts about Crispin was getting married to someone else. I mean, what? The first time I understood because she thought he was dead. But marriages 2 and 3, those didn't make sense to me. If she loved him as much as she claimed, she should have given him the benefit of the doubt. It was a little frustrating, which led me to knock off a point on the rating. Otherwise, though, she was a great character. I might have gotten annoyed with her, but I still liked her.

Crispin was wonderful. He was so sweet and charming and absolutely devoted to Henrietta. He never wavered in his love to her, even when there was a lot of cause for doubt. He was perfect and I adored him.

The romance was lovely. It was mostly sweet, but there was a sprinkle of spice. I thought it was so sweet that, throughout all the trials and tribulations their relationship went through, they were always steadfast in their love for each other, even though they may have had doubts in the other direction and their feuding families were doing everything they could to keep them apart.. I thought they were a sweet couple.

The plot was fast paced. I was hooked the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and I thought the ending was lovely, though I wish we had gotten an epilogue just to see the reaction of Henrietta and Crispin's family when they found out that the lovebirds got married.

Crispin Dale first met Henrietta Seldom when she was tangled in briars. He untangled her but before they were able to talk he father came searching for her. At their next meeting they made plans to meet at dawn and run away to Paris. On her way out of the house Henrietta ran into her nephew who locked her in a closet and Crispin went to Paris alone. After two more meetings and foiled plans Henrietta was sure she would never have the man of her dreams.

This book was so much fun to read, I wish it had been a full length novel.

A fun novella that goes back and forth in time as it tell how roguish Crispin, Viscount Dale, and the impetuous Lady Henrietta Seldon keep missing out on getting together. The fact that the Dale's and the Seldon's are have been feuding for ages does not help.

This is just a quickie review, especially considering that this book took me about 45 minutes to read. I knew it wouldn't take very long to read, so I just read it last night right before I went to bed. Have You Any Rogues is a very interesting take on a "Romeo and Juliet" theme. The majority of the book involves flashbacks, and sometimes I didn't mind, but others I got a bit frustrated with it a bit. I am not a huge fan of flashbacks, but I did understand by the end why the author put all the flashbacks in. The characters were interesting, through the flashbacks you see how they almost get their HEA but something disrupts their trust in each other, and boy this heroine got married quite a bit. I did enjoy the ending and the reconciliation between them. I do love the theme of the most recent series by this author. It had a charming quality to the story, and I loved the way the story turned out. I do plan on reading more of this author, because I am fascinated with her writing style. Even though it had a couple aspects to the story I didn't like so much, overall a fun romance that will wet your appetite.
