This is a pretty good one,
By Rev. Alvin King, III (Atlanta, Ga (USA)) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Having Church (Audio CD)
It's a good cd, only I think Rev. Cleveland could have appeared more on the album as far as playing the piano or organ. By this time, Rev. Cleveland had grown old and the year was 1990. Although he plays the piano only on three songs, (Somebody's Knocking, Shady Green Pastures, and My Hope Is Built On Thee) this recording was as strong as his 1975 Jesus Is The Best Thing album, where he did play the piano on. His audience's response was just as thunderous also. So pop this one in, go a few years back, and enjoy!

This is a God-inspired album with a lot of gospel power. You can almost feel THG as you listen to the songs, and all of His many blessings. By the album !

Let the church say Amen!,

I have loved this album since the age of 3. This is the true form of gospel that I have grown up with in the Black Church of the South.
