5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, October 15, 2001

Creager's album ranks right up there with the best of the Texas guys (eg. Bruce Robison, Jack Ingram). Great songs are everywhere. The songs have more attitude than most country music today.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT UNKNOWN SINGER!!!!!, June 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Having Fun All Wrong (Audio CD)
See Roger live while you can because he's got the talent to become a huge star!!! This is a wonderful cd for anyone who loves Texas country music like I do. If you are a fan of Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen or Pat Green then I promise you that you will love Roger's cd. You will fall in love right away when you hear the song "Having Fun All Wrong,"where he sings about Texas. Do yourself a favor and buy this album, you won't be disapointed!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Roger F'N Creager, May 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Having Fun All Wrong (Audio CD)
This album is incredible. With the exception of his version of L.A. Freeway, this album is extremely great. (For great versions of L.A. Freeway, see Guy Clark or Jerry Jeff Walker.) Roger says it best, "I guess you were right, the bluebonnets are worth the drive." To hear Creager on CD is awesome, to feel the electricity while he is singing live is almost orgasmic. The end song "Let it Roll" let's you know where he stands in life and with his career. Pick up Having Fun All Wrong and I Got the Guns, you wont regret a minute. Whenever you get the chance, see him in concert as well, it is awesome.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, September 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Having Fun All Wrong (Audio CD)
I saw Creager in person and had a good time. He looks like Donny Osmond (in a good way!), but he sang mostly other peoples songs. He sang Buffet, JJWalker, and tons of Robert Earle Keen, but not too much of his own music. I bought the CD so he could sign it and ended up loving the CD! I hope he feels more confident in his own music and attracks an older audience in the future!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it from the day I bought it!, April 30, 2003

This album is incredible! All my friends have a hard time getting me to take both this album and "I Got The Guns" out of my CD players. Creager has a great voice and an amazing songwriting potential; not only can he write a good love song, he can write beer drinkin' party songs and some of the best break up songs I've ever heard. He also does an awesome cover of Guy Clark's "L.A. Freeway." This is definately a good CD to buy, and I would also highly advise anyone to see him live--he puts on a fun show.

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll never listen to Nashville again..., May 28, 2001

Creager's debut album is nothing short of incredible. Instead of the traditional country whining about lost loves, Creager says in so many words, 'I'm glad you're gone.' His cover of LA Freeway is the best there is, and even my country-hating roommates had to admit 'Let It Roll' was a great song.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a Party!, January 21, 2000
This review is from: Having Fun All Wrong (Audio CD)
If you've ever seen Roger live, you know that it feels more like a party than a concert. His energy and talent is unreal, and this CD captures the same feeling. Every song sounds relaxed and not over produced, yet you can't get enough of it. His songwriting is superb. Buy this CD, and if you get a chance, go check out one of his parties...err concerts!
