About the Author

Theresa didn't know she wanted to be a writer until she read Jude Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor in 1992. She spent the next five years researching medieval times and writing Return of the Rose. She was also working full time and raising four children, but she knew she was a writer when nothing could stop her from getting the words to the page. She has garnered six Golden Heart nominations in Romance Writers of America's prestigious Golden Heart Competition for her work. After 19 years of rejections from traditional publishers, Theresa self-published in 2011 and went on to sell over 300,000 books in a little over a year. She recently signed her first publishing contract with Thomas & Mercer. Theresa writes medieval time travels, contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and thrillers under the name T.R. Ragan.

I loved, loved, loved this book. Needing money and desperate, Derrick donates some of his sperm for money but later gives the money back with a letter that he doesn't want his sperm used and wishes it was destroyed knowing that he could never live life knowing that he had a child out in the world. Later, he gets a letter stating that a recipient has chose his sperm. Of course, he needs to find this women so he could know for sure if he does have a child on the way. He does end up finding Jill and within minutes of meeting she goes into labor.

It's not easy to find a book that you can't find a flaw. With Jill and Derrick, I loved their personalities and their faults, they clicked so well and I never ha the urge to scream at the book because one was being stupid or didn't do what I wanted them to do or one say the wrong thing. Derrick has a big loving family (I want to say he has seven brothers and two sisters but don't quote me on that) amd you can't help but love them all, especially when all the brothers are together and messing and picking on each other. It's amazing that one mistake can bring so many people together and bring in so much love.

This was a great book that I would recommend to anyone and I can't wait to read more of Mrs. Ragan's books!!!

In our modern times, there are possibilities for lots of shenanigans with Sperm banks and clinical impregnation mixed with human error. This is the story that brings together two total strangers; Derrick and Jill. She is having his baby. Derrick is mortally afraid of moving on with his life (i.e. marriage, babies, etc) so when this happens without his knowledge he is more then a little crazy.
I would be too, if some stranger was having my baby!
I can see how the H/h thought that they were in love with people from their past that they were blind to the love that was kicking them in the face every time they were together. This is like a YA romance because there is little to no sex, but there was nothing missing because there is lots of emotional growth and funny loyal friendships.
This was well edited and a fun bittersweet read with a 'baby-then-falls-in-love' plot scenario.

This was a fun read, a great story line, with a good pace and laugh out loud funny in places. The characters were well drawn from 'Satan' the read headed girlfriend to Thomas the hapless non appearing groom and the little girl was a real pistol.

But...and to me it is a very big but...the author let down an otherwise great book with her word choices.

The number of cliches per page was little short of freaking unbelievable. On one kindle page I highlighted 20 tired cliched phrases. And this really spoiled an otherwise fun read.

I got this book from the lending library on PRIME for my KINDLE. I am disappointed by all the glowing reviews I think they are misleading. I am having a difficult time finding anything to recommend this book, granted I am only 20% through it and I'm giving up.

The author needs to work on fleshing out scenes. The story is galloping along, so far the Hero found out he's the father of a sperm bank baby, (not a spoiler since that is available information from the summary), he's confronted the heroine, the baby has been born, multiple sub-plots have been introduced and so on.

There is nothing to recommend any of the characters, they come across as nasty, self centered, self indulgent, spoiled babies who have no business raising tulips let alone children.

I also have a problem with continuity. He knocks on her door, her elderly neighbor is spying on them from across the hall. She looks over his shoulder and sees his car in her parking lot, he leaves and sees the apartment across the hall is for rent. So is this a supernatural story? The case of the missing apartment? Now you see it, now you don't?

I loved this book. It wasn't like typical romances where the hero and heroine fall in love within the first chapter and the rest of the book is dribble.

I don't usually give a review of a book but the writer did a great job of building this storyline, that I had to comment. I couldn't book this book down once I started, it had all you could hope for. Fun, Tears, Laughter and a Happy Ending.

This is the second book I have read by Theresa Ragan and I am about to start on 'Finding Kate Huntley".

I highly recommend you read this book and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A great romance about two people brought together by fate. I really like that it wasn't just about the main characters. The author added a little extra with the romances of two supporting characters! I really enjoyed it and hope to see more from this author!

I don't mind light and fluffy. In fact, some of my favorite romances are light and fluffy but they have a strong core. I couldn't get into this story, partially because the plot had holes and partially because of the dialogue. I'm a fanatical romance reader but can't recommend this book.

For comparison, my favorite contemporary romance writers are Nora Roberts (newer books), Victoria Dahl (who knows how to do light and funny without too much sugar). I also like Lisa Kleypas (contemporary) and Grace Burrowes. I always find it easier to relate to reviews if I know what else the reviewer likes.
