About the Author
Wildlife artist Sheryl Ives-Boynton has been drawing professionally since 1971, including clients the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the National Park Service, the National Wildlife Federation and the Conservation Council for Hawaii. Her shows have been featured in galleries in Hawaii and other states. She continues to paint Hawaiian wildlife and loves to share her love, knowledge and talent with children. "Show the children what is beautiful and special about the world around them. Teach them how to cherish and protect this world. We are all stewards of Spaceship Earth," says Sheryl.

This is a great work of not only art but of language. It ripped my head off like the time I drove my car off a bridge somewhere between Berryville and West Virginia. Makes me wish I was an artist>
