If the Hawaiian versions are too foreign, there are more familiar Christmas songs, such as "Have Yourself A Merry Christmas" or "Mary Did You Know?" All in all, a delightful Christmas/holiday evening in Hawai'i!

I bought this CD as we have been in love with Hawaiian music since a trip there a few years ago. I looked at a lot of Hawaiian Christmas music online and it seemed a little tacky...kind of touristy if you can follow what I mean. Then I heard Amy and knew this was the one to buy. There is a good mix on this CD and I love hearing some of the classics done in her native tongue. Too bad IZ has passed...I would love to hear Amy and him do some duets.

Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom is a true Hawaiian but her polished style is not right out of the taro patch. When she sings, she presents with control, sensitivity and beauty. The arrangements on this CD are also fantastic and sweet with slack key, ukulele and all the rest. If I had been born Hawaiian, I can't imagine life without this CD. It's a real joy.

I like this CD because I like Amy H. However, her non-Christmas CD's are more interesting than this one turned out to be.

The product is good, but the shipment method not good. I was in a rush to receive the product, therefore, I selected to pay for speedy shipment thinking that I will receive the product within a 2 to 3 days. I did not receive the product until 6 days later, that is not speedy shipment that I paid for. When I order directly from Hawaii, which I do in many occasions as I am from Hawaii, it takes me 2 to 3 days to receive my on-line orders. I will not be shopping with Amazon again, not because of the product, but because of the shipment methods. Products are easily found anywhere on-line, and honestly, I thought if go through Amazon instead of going directly to Hawaii, I would get the product faster, I was wrong.
