Hidden objects off corner of screen,

This review is from: Hawaiian Explorer Lost Island (CD-ROM)
This was given as a gift. My friend is a veteran at these hidden object games. Imagine the disappointment when the hint goes off the screen and nothing works to click on it. The next time, the hint shows where it is, but clicking everywhere on it or near it does nothing. I would take a guess and say someone in a foreign country probably made this game, it is very evident in the descriptions of items. I am highly considering taking the laptop into the store where it was purchased and showing them how this game plays and asking for my money back.

disappointed yet again!,

I bought the first one, Hawaiian Explorer-Pearl Harbor. I didn't really care for that one. I thought the graphics were too grainy and I couldn't hardly find anything. Plus, you don't have enough time to search for anything. GameMill entertainment games are all like that. I thought Lost Island would be different since Activision was associated with it. But, no. Now, I just stay away from any game that GameMill entertainment releases.

Bad Game For Vista,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hawaiian Explorer Lost Island (CD-ROM)
I downloaded this game on Vista and it does not allow you do many things. It will not allow you to pause the game, for a brief time. Nor will it allow you to end the game temporarly for the day. The only way i could get out of the game was to hit cntl-alt-del. Pluse the game subtracts time every time you click on the incorrect item. Maybe it plays better on other windows but on Vista, it is almost unplayable.
