Patterns are given full size and include a brief description. Instructions on how to applique and quilt are simple and clear. A "must" for every quilter interested in Hawaiian quilts

This is a workbook of block sized Hawaiian quilt patterns. My favorites are pineapple and hibiscus. There are full sized quarter patterns on each block. What a great way to sample different patterns.

I have been making a queen size quilt using these patterns for nearly a year now. I find them easy and very effective, I am using a cream background and red flowers. I could not have attempted these designs without the book. Thank you.

Very well constructed book, with excellent drawings of patterns and thorough instructions included. There are additional graphics depicting suggested quilting ideas, which, for the novice hawaiian quilter, such as myself, is an excellent tool to create an outstanding finished result. Her patterns are full sized so you do not need to re-size the patterns to use them. You can trace or copy them for use. Overall, an excellent hawaiian quilting instruction book.

I bought this book to make a quilt to remember my honeymoon in Hawaii and the quilt shops we visited. I just love these patterns and when I was in Hawaii I thought that the patterns would be too difficult to ever think of doing, but I was wrong. Most of them aren't too complicated to do even if you haven't done much applique. This book has alot of really beautiful patterns.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I was waiting for this book to arrive. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised. The color pictures are pictured to show the beautiful finished patterns. There's a nice how-to section in the beginning of the book. It also has a page of supplies you need to start. This makes it much easier to understand the whole process.

Great book, all instructions are very well written and patterns are well done, can't wait to get started on this project!

Perfect book for the beginning quilter who wants to make a first attempt at a Hawaiian quilt. This small blocks are perfect to get a taste of the techniques involved and to improve your skills.

Even if you have never tried needle turn applique, this book is really helpful. Once you look thru it, you will understand why these quilts take so long to complete. I am grateful i found this.
