Help for the Beginner to the Pro,
By KapenaKuke "kapenakuke" (Honolulu) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hawaiian Seed Lei Making (Paperback)
I disagree vehemently with Ms Jeske. I found this a wonderful resource for all seed lei crafters - from the beginner to the pro. It covers all sorts of info from gathering the seeds to the completion of a seed lei. It is sooo worth the small price. Malia

This review is from: Hawaiian Seed Lei Making (Paperback)
not what i was looking for. I was expecting a detailed account of making a certain type of lei that honors the hawaiian traditions of lei making. This book is truly a commercialized version of simply making necklaces out of all kinds of seeds, primarily from trees native to hawaii. I will not use the methods in this book, I am undecided as to whether I will keep this book to protect the hawaiian traditions from the bastardized processes suggested in this book, or if I will simply sell it at garage sale prices to allow someone who might enjoy it to utilize the techniques for their creative endeavors. Be well. Find peace.
