You need to get this!
I got this as a present from my friend whose family grew up in Hawaii. I LOVE this cookbook! I actually lost it but I bought another at a bookstore because I couldn't go without it. I have many cookbooks but this is the one that I use the most. I have made almost all of the chicken dishes. The wing recipes are fantastic! I refuse to eat at any of the surburban chain wing...

Okay
This Cookbook is okay but not the best representation of local cooking. I tried a couple of the recipes but didn't like it. Will try a bit more before I decide to donate it.

I got this as a present from my friend whose family grew up in Hawaii. I LOVE this cookbook! I actually lost it but I bought another at a bookstore because I couldn't go without it. I have many cookbooks but this is the one that I use the most. I have made almost all of the chicken dishes. The wing recipes are fantastic! I refuse to eat at any of the surburban chain wing restaurants because they lack flavor compared to these. The recipes are very easy and I found all of the ingredients at a grocery store or asian store. Because I love it so much, I'm about to order her other cookbook "Best Local Dishes"!
