Does the Job for the Price,

This review is from: Hawk MG9040A-LED Led Light Head Magnifier (Tools & Home Improvement)
I needed a lightweight head-mounted light with magnifiers to do occaisional fine electronics work, and for minor medical issues like pulling splinters out of my kid's fingers. Now that I'm in the "over 40" set, my close up vision is going downhill. Other products I looked at were either too bulky, (the majority), or did not have a light or were not wearable (hand-held). While these are not the most sleek (understatement) they are much quicker to use for the purposes I outlined above. The LED light is very bright and it comes with 3 lenses.
The lenses snap in to the light housing (more on this later) and tend to make the glasses Front heavy and slip off. After adjusting the nose and temple pieces I was able to get a comfortable fit that didn't fall off but I will probably add a sport strap just the same. The flimsiest part is were the lenses snap in to the housing. I think that repeated removal and replacement may cause that part of the housing to eventually break but mine has survived so far. On the whole the product works as advertised and even comes with batteries! If you need light duty hands free magnifier and light this is a good cheap choice.

Ultra-Light Magnifier Glasses,
This review is from: Hawk MG9040A-LED Led Light Head Magnifier (Tools & Home Improvement)
Before buying I read a review that said the frames tend to slide down your nose due to the weight of the lens. But, the problem is easily corrected by using a cloth type retainer. This review was right on the money.
