4.0 out of 5 stars Great read for Hawkeye fans November 12, 2011
Format:Paperback
I really enjoyed this book. If you're a Hawkeye fan like me, you need to pick it up. The world's greatest marksman is going blind, and that's not good for someone who relies on his eyes to fight. One of the best things about this book is how it shows flashbacks of Hawkeye's past. My only complaint about these is that they pretty much leave out the Swordsman, who was a central figure in Hawkeye's life. They mentioned that he tried to kill Clint, but left out the part about how he became a hero, and the part where he died. Other than that, the flashbacks were handled very well. The main antagonist of the story is a Captain America villain you really don't expect to be fighting Hawkeye, but the other baddie Clint Barton has to deal with is the new Trickshot, whose identity will be a stunning surprise to Hawkeye.

Also I really loved the Hawkeye: Earth's Mightiest Marksman 1-Shot from the 90s that they threw in there. Great stuff!

This book really represents the true fighting ability of Hawkeye. A must-read for any Clint Barton fans out there!
