Didn't work after five cycles,

I was able to use it only about five times before it stopped functioning. I swapped it out with an Intermatic unit which I took from another outlet as a stop gap for now.

This review is from: Hawking HomeRemote Pro HRLM1 Lamp Module (Personal Computers)
I purchased this item about two months ago and it has been working flawlessly. I have a proprietary dimmable 75W fluorescent bulb and was worried that it would not work with this dimmer, but after a few adjustments of light intensity (using the remote) my fluorescent bulb stopped flickering and has worked as if it was directly connected to the socket, even when dimmed through the module. This module also works as a signal extender so if a second module is out of the range of the remote but the first module isn't, the first module is supposedly capable of extending the signal to the second module and therefore both will respond to the remote's command. There is also a led indicator that shows that the current is conveyed to the lamp, but it turns off with the lamp, making it a good choice for a home theater setup or any other situation in which total darkness is optimal.
