This review is from: Hawking Technology DC1300 PocketCam Dual-Mode PC Camera (USB) (Personal Computers)
I was in love with this camera when I got it as a birthday gift. I was amazed with the feature list off the 3rd Party Reseller's web site where the gift was purchased:camera/camcorder/webcam 180 pictures 120 seconds of video self-timer built in auto flash built in memory USB PC/Mac compatible etc. It was perfect & the price was reasonable. But after I tried it out... I wasn't so excited anymore. It didn't work with my Mac. The instructions said nothing about Mac. The included CDs were only for PC. The tech support said nope. And when I tried to return it, the 3rd Party Reseller still insisted that it was supposed to work with both platforms. Overall taking pictures & video was easy, the camera was light & small & portable, the beeping noises weren't bad, the self-timer was cool, and the buttons were the right size. I couldn't download any of the pictures or use any of the included software. I didn't try it as a webcam. I can only give it about 2.5 stars because only half of it worked for me (not really the fault of the camera, but that's all I can vote on).
