Not Ready for Prime-Time, October 17, 2002

This review is from: Hawking Technology FR24 Dual WAN Router with 4-Port Switch (10/100 Mbps) (Personal Computers)
These guys have a long way to go. The documentation is poor, the product has many inconsistencies and is fraught with typos embedded in the interface. Stay away until they get their act together.
On the plus side, they did call me back fairly promptly from tech support, but alas, not with the answers I needed to hear.

Frustrating, July 29, 2007
This review is from: Hawking Technology FR24 Dual WAN Router with 4-Port Switch (10/100 Mbps) (Personal Computers)
I do not recommend this dual wan router. The advanced features tend not to work as advertised. If you want something cheap that will switch over to a second WAN this is it.
Load balancing locks up your browser, it does not double your throughput. DMZ ends up not being able to ping or do anything. Yes, I upgraded the firmware to the latest level.
I think there will be a big need for people who must always have internet on even if one provide drops out, unfortunately this router is not it.
I used a peplink balance 200 it worked wonderfully, this router is a constant frustration.
