The Futura is a very well made and efficient pressure cooker. It is designed to be very safe. we have owned the Futura 7 liter for about 15 years and use it 2 or 3 times a week. It cooks meats that are tender and juicy, even cheap cuts, and my wife cooks all sorts of other things in it. It is wonderful for stew. Brown rice cooks much faster and comes out very nice. You can eat healthier and save money with one of these.

I bought this pressure cooker for my husband. He uses it ALOT! He makes navy bean and other types of soups with dry bean within a hour or two. He has cooked meats that are falling apart and devine tasting! This is the best money that I have spent on Amazon in a long time! You won't be sorry buying this!

I have used this pressure cooker, both the 5 and 7 liter, for about 15 years and they are still going strong. I gave the smaller one to my daughter since I needed a bigger one. If you have never used a pressure cooker you will truly be amazed at the speed of cooking. The lentil soup I make in it is absolutely wonderful. Cheesecakes are delicious. Yes, Cheesecakes. Bread pudding is my husbands favorite. Over the years I purchased many cookbooks specifically for the PC and enjoy trying many of them. I know how people love their slow cookers, but the quality of final product can not be compared to foods made in a Pressure cooker.
