Hawthorne" Executive Mesh Ergonomic Office Chair w/ Gas Lift & Tilt w/ Lumbar Support
this is a great chair at a fantastic price. it was easy to assemble and my wife, who has back problems and is an artist, who spends many hours every day sitting and painting, has found great relief for her back problems since using this chair.

Breaks early
We bought the chair in November 2010 and while it's true my husband is a tall man who weighs about 200 lbs, the gas lift broke recently and it doesn't seem right to have that happen so soon... The company, The Green Group claims they don't have the part, but were helpful with finding a company that does.

The chair is comfortable and provides adequate back support. The cost of the chair plus shipping was very reasonable for a chair that provides back support. I was looking for an ergonomic chair, but I did not want to spend an excessive amount of money. This chair was a great compromise.

I am a tall slender guy weighing no more than 175 and after a month of use 2 out of the 5 chair legs broke off. Would have been better of the bottom was metal...
