Haydn wrote some of his music to fit the singing style and capacity of singers of his time, and for whom he had affection. If Nuria Rial had performed during his times, she would have been a favorite of his. Her vocal ability dovetails with the music. If you've not listened to Ms. Rial, cast about on YouTube and listen to her on the Bachstiftung offerings.
