I have a 2001 Tahoe LS with the 5.3l motor...this is a decent manual that I have used a number of times for servicing the braking system, replacing shocks and soon sway bars. Essentials like torque specs are all listed in the appropriate areas. There are more pictures than I anticipated, but you can always use more. :)

Wow, a repair manual!,

I bought this manual for two reasons:
First, because the owners manual didn't describe in detail what should be greased as part of the regular maintenance. Second, at some point I'll have mechanical problems with the truck and I wanted to have this manual on-hand when that happens. I learned a lot from this manual relating to maintenace an inspection. What I didn't expect was the tutorial on nut and bolt grades at the beginning of the book. It made for a good read ;)

I purchased this book for instructions on a transfer case replacement. The pictures and detailed instructions made the entire procedure very straightforward and the savings in shop fees easily recuperated the purchase cost of the book.
