Thanks D. Pearman...Your review indicating that it did come with all the parts is what I needed to know. Yes, I too just purchase this to replace the exact one I had for 10 yrs. This chlorinator does come with all the parts needed to connect it your pool system. It comes with the all the fittings, clamps & hoses needed, these parts alone cost over $50 to replace thats why I just purchased a new. It is a great Deal, see what your local pool store wants for the same thing.

Replaced old offline chlorinator with new one. All parts were included. It was cheaper at Amazon than from my pool installer!

It was easy to install. It automates your chlorine; I put disks in once a week. My clorine level stays steady, and this has been a real challenge. My pool is 34,000 gallons. This was money well spent.

Bought this because we go to a summer home for a couple of weeks at a time. Our pool (15000 gal.) gets to about 85 degrees during the summer. If chlorine gets low big problemo. Once you figure out the correct adjustment, for your pool,the device works great. Plenty of capacity. This is by far the best price. The unit comes with everything you need to hook it up, took about an hour.

I usually purchase a new one every 5 years; outdoor exposure and chlorine do take a toll on the item. At Amazon's cost, it's easier to get a new one rather than replace parts. It is shipped complete with all fittings, O-ring, lines and clamps.

It will hold about 10-12 3" tabs with ease; don't put in too many or the top can't spin closed. Expect to replace the viton O-ring every season; it will stretch and you won't be able to close the chlorinator due to the stretched O-ring in the way; I would suggest keeping an extra O-ring available. It can still be difficult spinning the top closed if you have arthritic or similar problems: solution - use a rubber mallet to tap the top closed (or open if necessary) while holding the bottom with your shoes. It works. The reason for the 4 star rating rather than 5 was due to the difficulty that "older" hands can have in closing a tightly fitting top.

Purchased this to replace our old one. It was a snap to install with top notch directions and all the necessary parts were included. And the best part was that it was 1/3 of the price of those other companies on the internet and our pool supply shops too. Works great! Couldn't have gotten a better deal.

I have one of these for about 4 years. The one issue I have is the quality of the material - there are parts that do not withstand Chlorine... which for something to be used in a pool is disappointing. Here I am specifically referring to the plumbing parts... (e.g. the hose the the items that the hoses attach to.) I have had to go through and replace them several times until I got smart and found better stuff from a plumbing store. The rest of the thing seems to be well built.

We had this same Hayward automatic chlorinator at our previous home. When we moved to our new home, the pool didn't have one. I knew I wanted one. This keeps the chlorine levels nice and steady. I check the balance of the water maybe twice a week, and put more chlorinating tablets in the feeder once a week or two weeks. Once you get the correct setting for your pool, it's very easy to keep the balance of your water. However, if your free chlorine drops, don't just open this up and let more chlorine in - it uses stablized chlorine. Your results will be better if you add liquid shock right to the pool and keep your chlorinator set the same. This is a great device - wouldn't do without it.

I rated it four stars instead of five because the check valve leaked upon assembly, then it snapped. A quick trip to the pool supply store and an addition $20 fixed it. Unfortunately, you have to buy all the pieces in a kit - you can't just buy the one check valve.

Needed a replacement and found this. Price was right, delivery was QUICK and the box contains everything needed to complete a hookup - tubing, fittings and even Teflon tape. However it is the thinnest tape ever and difficult to work with, so use your own and be done quicker.

I have been using this for 20 years and been very happy with it. Plus was very happy to see that Amazon had it for 30 dollars less than my local pool store. The specs were very ambiguous about the connectors were inside or not so I ordered both the inlet and outlet check valve. Turns out everything is including including the pipe connectors and tubing if you want to change those out also. If you are wondering, dont worry it has everything.
