Everytime I read this book again, I am amazed about the importance of the message J.B. Bennett brings about.

The importance of Hazard, the Risk one has to take for bringing
about possibilities one otherwise has not access to. The realisation, why the world was created as it is, where fate is to be placed, why chaos, why a just determined world cannot be like our world is.

Not just a must for any 4.th way seeker, but as much for any true and sincere spiritual seeker!

The new foreword by A.G.E. Blake locates the Gurdjieffian concept of hazard in the context of the new sciences. Hazard is an objective property of the world making human acts significant. This is book one of talks given on ideas found in The Dramatic Universe.

Reality is: risk and drama is what makes life not only interesting, but worthwhile. The possibility of failure, of making an effort or paying a price but still failing, is what enlivens and energizes any venture or experience. This book clarifies this concept in a way no other has done for me. Written by someone who seems to have lived his life according to his own precepts and words, making the observations and teachings he passed on all the more valuable and poignant.
