I was browsing through a book store and saw this book. I have read other religious books trying to explain the reasoning of God but this one being so short, it caught my eye. I am not a professed believer- I am still compiling information- and this book was very compelling. Not only does it give the view of a believer for any type of reader but it adds examples and comparisions. It is a very quick read- one sitting-, is easy to understand, and is not offending. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for another view from either side :)

This book gave a scenario of a troubled relationship between a girl and her father, and related it to the troubled relationship that humans have with God. It helps the reader understand where God is coming from and what God is about and what we (as children of God) have a choice to do.

This is a wonderful book regarding one's faith and personal relationship with Christ. The story could be applied to many situations today, not just family relationships, but also to life in general. The examples used are very touching. The book is easily read and is very relaxing. It shows God's love for us and His blessing for us. I enjoyed reading every page. This is excellent!

I just read this book last night and was touched. Lucado really presents the Gospel in a tangible way and details what Christ did for us, why He died for us, and then presents the reader with the invitation to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. It's a concise book, so it's a very quick read. It's a powerful book little book though.

A great presentation of the gospel message. Biblical and human...

This was a very well written book. Max Lucado writes as though you are sitting at the table across from him. I liked how he did not make this into a preachy book by telling us (readers) that we are all sinners (which we are but...), instead makes it clear Jesus died on the cross for your and my sins because He wanted to.
When you are in a bookstore and come across the name Max Lucado, it is a guarantee the book will be good...and this one is not an exception.

This little book has great impact. The story that flows through helps follow the concepts explained. Glad I found it. Has been great for my friends.

disappointed.

the booklet is supposedly 64 pages but somehow it's just a few screens on kindle. I expected it to be longer, to last longer but clearly it didn't...

the contents itself is of course perfectly fine but i should have gone to a bookstore and got it as a hard copy for $1.50 instead of $5 on kindle.
