A Great Little Collectors Item!!, June 5, 2003

The Newsboys have been on a constant musical high during the last several years. Their latest album "Adoration" is an excellent collection of original and covered Praise and Worship songs. If you can't afford the entire album, there is this single, "He Reigns", which is "Adoration's" opening track and its best song. This song is proabably the most gospel-flavored track the band has ever recorded complete with a catchy chorus and a choir on backing vocals.
Also included on the single are two different versions of "Thrive", the title track to the 'Boys previous album. The track is presented in its original album version as well as a remix which also appears on the band's "Remixed" album.
Since releasing songs as singles is so rare these days, it's great to know that it still occasionally happens especially with a band like the Newsboys. Both this single and the album "Adoration" are worth having. However, if you're just testing the waters, I'd recommend this single first.
