Josey was a fun loving, high spirited person who, in the beginning, loved to manipulate and control people. She thought she had it all and that no one could stop her. Until now, she thought everything should be her way or no way. Her total life changed when she met Him. She wasn't happy with her life and wanted to end it. She didn't realize it at the time, but this man would change her life forever and give her a desire to live life to its fullest and not to take anything for granted. She wanted her story told so that others might learn from her mistakes. She was seeking to save people from having to experience the struggles, heartaches and pain that she suffered through when it all could have been avoided.
I was born and raised in Oxford, North Carolina. I graduated from Mary Potter High School. For three years I attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.. I married at the age of 21 and had two children. My husband and I separated after seven years of marriage. My son and I moved to Richmond, Virginia because there were no jobs in Oxford that I wanted. I stayed in Richmond for two years before I decided to join the United States Army. There was something about that uniform I could not resist and it held me captive for twenty two years. After being in the Army for two years, my daughter was born while I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Shortly after that I got a divorce because my husband was cheating on me. When I retired from the Army I took a six year sabbatical. I went to Strayer College to obtain my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. My hobbies are reading, making ceramic products, sewing, cruising and singing. I am a Christian and have been in church almost all of my life. Currently, I am working in Virginia and believing I will retire again within the next two years. I am a single African American female living in Temple Hills, Maryland. I am sixty years old and I am waiting for my "Boaz" to find me. The Lord has blessed me with the honor of telling Josephine's story
Excellent, I have shared this book with several friends and family members.
