This one book alone has had such as profound positive impact on my faith, relationships with God, my husband, family, friends, and discovering who I am that I felt very compelled to write this review. Since reading He Wins She Wins, I view myself, others, and situations so differently now as I have gained knowledge and insight through the eyes of a Christian doctor/author. I believe that this book should be required reading before a teenager enters into adulthood and faces the various personalities, challenges, and situations in life. At a minimum, it should be offered in mental health/rehabilitation hospitals especially to those who are struggling with relationship issues. I prayed that God would place people and knowledge in my life to help me find myself again and He did very quickly beginning with this book and even more so by placing me in Dr. Zaepfel's hands as a patient. I am very grateful.

He Wins She Wins is not a book that you read once, put down, and expect changes overnight. It takes reading/understanding the concepts in the book and applying the information to one's own life and changing one's behavior which takes some time. The book is an extremely well written, full of the author's clinical experiences with patients, and backed up by God's desire for us in a manner that would appeal to anyone - Christian and non-Christian alike. I believe there is not a doctor, not a hospital, not anyone that can convey adequately the information that is provided in He Wins She Wins as well as it has been written by Dr. Zaepfel.

In my experience and opinion, the most important thing that we can do for ourselves and others, is to stop, take time out away from stresses in life, spend quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, read/study, learn who we are, and make changes in our life and behavior/reactions to others and situations in order to promote positive growth and mental health. Reading He Wins She Wins is an excellent start in finding yourself, understanding others, and gaining/regaining your faith in God.

He Wins She Wins is so well written and informative that I wish that Oprah, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, and The Doctors would publicize it nationally in hopes that it will inspire and help others as it has helped me and to reduce the unbelievable increase in mental health problems (depression, substance abuse, anger, etc.) in this country.
