I purchased this for my mother for Christmas, as she'd told me she wanted to get a pastry brush with colored rubber bristles, so she wouldn't have to worry about the brush shedding when she uses it. She's a happy cook and I thought this kitchen-helper would suit her, since it has personality. She's surprisingly overjoyed with this and she recommends it for older cooks, as it doesn't bother her arthritis the way other brush handles have. There are more ways for her to hold this and the bristles are soft enough that they glide over the food smoothly, getting into all of the crevices, with little pressure.

Love these cooking tools! We have them all now and they are all of great quality, comfortable to hold and dishwasher safe. My 3 yr old has names for each one. Excellent way to get kids involved in the kitchen.
