Some people have complained about the net but I am not one of them. The net is on the flimsy side but that means that you need less complicated nonsense to hold it up. Unless you are blundering into it full speed you aren't going to be breaking it, so it doesn't need to be hefty. It is also much simpler to erect than the other net I used. The shuttlecocks are not the feather kind which I prefer because the feathers always break. My only genuine complaint is that the marker lines are really low quality and have already broken. You can jury rig them to work though and so its not a big deal. Get this set, you will be happy with it.
I was really shocked to see this kit at close to $70 be such poor quality. The only good thing about about this set was the racquets and that is why I am giving it two stars instead of one.
I promptly returned this to Amazon for a full a refund.

This only lasted one weekend and it's definitely not high quality. With that said, it provided a good amount of fun for the money. Read morePublished on December 9, 2013 by JR
For the price I can't complain. Only knock is that the rackets and the poles that hold the net seem pretty weak but I haven't broken anything yet so they get 4 stars.Published on November 8, 2013 by Drew R. Frantz
The net is a lot wider than I thought it would be but we able to make it smaller and we've had a lot of fun playing.Published on September 6, 2013 by justjen
The product is of such poor quality that Head should be ashamed that it dares to sell this. The net is basically un-usable. The iron poles are the only good thing about it. Read morePublished on August 27, 2013 by Jos Verbeek

This badminton set is complete and works well. The tape for the lines and net is plastic and breaks easily but the poles, ropes, and racquets function well and seem sturdy. Read morePublished on August 26, 2013 by lee seratte
