Directions
For maximum dandruff control use every time you shampoo. Wet hair. Massage onto scalp. Rinse. Repeat if desired. Caution: If used on bleached, tinted, grey or permed hair, rinse for 5 minutes. For best results use at least twice a week or as directed by a doctor.

I'm African American with natural hair (4b/c - somewhere between there). I became natural in 2009, but after I had my baby in 2010 my hair/scalp went through a transformation and I developed scales and awful itching. After doing research I found I have seborrea dermatitis and I have tried numerous shampoos/conditioners to minimize or get rid of it. Not to mention I was trying to stay with consuming natural products, but they did not work and believe it or not tea tree did nothing for me. I also work out 6x a week so the sweat in my hair made the itching worse. I bought this about 2 weeks ago (after watching someone on You Tube discuss dermatitis), used it twice (once a week) and I love it. I know this is cliche but this product has helped me go through my workouts and I hardly see any more scales (It's not completely gone yet, but the itching has stopped). Since going natural, I've tried to stay away from laureth sulfate products, but if this product is stopping the itchiness and scaling, I guess me and laureth sulfates are friends and my natural hair doesn't seem to have a problem with it. The one thing I couldn't stand was washing my hair with natural products that "suppose" to help and a couple hours later I'm back to scratching and seeing the flakes develop (and I wash my hair well). The scent of this product isn't bad either. I highly recommend it. Thank you Head and Shoulders!

I had horrible dandruff and tried every treatment I could find...from $40 bottles of medicated shampoo to tea tree oil, nothing worked (in fact, most things actually made it worse!). After seeing this reviewed somewhere I decided to give it a try, even though other versions of Head and Shoulders did nothing for me. Within 2 weeks of daily use my scalp was completely cleared (I have to use it about once a week now to prevent a reoccurance). I highly recommend this shampoo to those who are looking for relief for stubborn dandruff.

Bad dandruff and dry scalp made me scratch my head like crazy. It was snowing every time I touched my head. It would get to the point where my head would be sore from scratching it and I think I cut my head. When I bought this product my dandruff virtually goes away and it soothes your head from the itchiness. Just use it daily for awhile till you don't think you need it as much and it will be gone in no time. I still use it every week.

Smells strong
This has a very bad smell that stays on your hair even after your hair is dry. Cannot recommend. It may very well work, but I can't get past the smell.
