This product works wonders.I have tried every product there is for curly/Wavy hair. I was given a tip by a girl workin in Peninsula beauty, She told me to use some warm water and rub your hands together so the product isn't so thick and will distribute easier throughout the hair. WONDERFUL TIP. I get some many compliments on my hair when using this product. I have natural waves in my hair and if I don't find the right product my hair doesn't look good. I would not go without this product.

I have curly hair - and with the years it has changed - sometimes curlier, somes closer to wavy (yucky hormones!) But for many years the one constant for me has been Curls Rock. If left with no product, my hair is frizzy & lacks all defintion. Using this product - the right way - leaves my hair shiny & my curls are defined.

I have naturally curly, super thick hair - shoulder lenght. Here is my routine.

Step 1 - wash & condition with curl enhancing products - I use Clairol right now - its decently priced.

Step 2 - comb wet hair with a comb- & towel dry for a few seconds. You just want it to still be very wet - but not dripping

Step 3 - squeeze Curls Rock Curl Amplifier into hand (I use a dime sized amount - you may need more or less) and rub hands together.

Step 4 - work product through hair - I start with the places on my head that get the frizziest - then work my way to the underside.

Step 5 - Spray head generously with a Strong hold aerosol Hairspray (I really like Pantene.

Step 6 - flip head upside down (bend over at waist) and dry with a diffuser attachment on hairdryer. ONLY DRY HAIR 50% OF THE WAY. You don't want to fry it.

Step 7 - finish with more hairspray

Thoughout the day my curls will straighten out due to the heaviness of my hair - I use the Curls Rock Booster (an aerosol spray) to liven them up about once a day when I am at work (I think the vent in my office is aimed at my head).

This is what works for me & I get compliments on my curly hair all the time. The trick is to find a good product - then try a few different things - in combination with some other products to get the results you want. I have never experienced the 'dandruff' effect described by some reviewers, my guess would be they used too much product - or used on dry hair. I have been using this product for years!

I bought this based on many rave reviews from different websites. The first time I used it, I made the mistake of using way too much, so make sure you use it sparingly until you figure out the right amount for your hair. I don't care for the fruity smell but it dissapates after the hair is dry. It has a thin consistency so it's easy to distribute it to every strand of hair, thus eliminating the possibilty of frizz. It could offer more hold, but it does help control the frizz and defines my curls well. I just end up using hairspray (Rusk W8Less & W8Less Plus)after my hair is dry to achieve the desired volume and hold (my hair is very heavy). Worth a try if you already have curly or wavy hair but if you're expecting it to create curl where none exists, don't waste your money. It's only for us Shirley Temple gals! Oh, and one more thing, I tried the entire Ouidad line for over a year-it actually made my hair more frizzy and dried it out like there was no tomorrow. I used it EXACTLY according to the directions and video clips on the website. Definitely don't waste your money on that product line!

I absolutely LOVE this product! I'm SO mad that they're discontinuing this line! I've been using this for over 4 years, and for good reason. Nothing else even compares! One bottle of this usually lasts me over 2 months because it should be used sparingly, otherwise it will make hair crunchy (we don't want that, now, do we?). It's great for when I need to blow dry my hair, it holds the curls together without letting it frizz and separate, but the curls are still soft. I swear to god, I get complemented on my hair at LEAST 5 times a week. I reflexively respond my thanks without my brain even acknowledging that I got complemented on my hair because it is so quotidian.

When my favorite product was discontinued, I picked this up at a garage sale. I have hair that would just be frizzy if I did not use this stuff. And this holds up even in the rainy climate in which I live.
Everyone should experiment with the best way to use this product. I have finally learned to put about 3 small pumps on the last layer of my hair - the ends - the most frizzy, right after a short towel drying. Then I wait about 15 minutes and apply a bit more to the rest of my hair. I have to use a lot of this stuff, as my hair is rather long and is colored, which means that those dry, frizzy ends really soak it up.

I don't wash my hair every day, but if I spray water on it, the product works as well as it did the day before.

The only downside is that I don't have the shine I would like, but I may try an additional TIGI product for that....

I started using (and still do - alternating, not in combination with Curls Rock) Moroccan Oil Intense Curl Cream, but branched off and tried Catwalk Curls Rock. My friend gave me a week's worth sample to try. I have naturally curly hair that needs lots of product (most do). This product smells nice, goes on smoothly and dries beautifully. My curls are defined and bouncy. I don't even feel like I have product in my hair. I use this in combination with the Curls Rock Booster - a must have! Good luck to all of my fellow curly heads!

Curls Rock - Curl Amplifier by Tigi Catwalk is a WONDERFUL product! I wouldn't be able to make it each morning without it! I love the way it leaves my curls...curly and defined - not stiff or wet looking! I would recommend this product to anyone with curly hair, it makes having curls so much fun. Everyone thinks I have a perm - NOPE! Just Catwalk Products, which are so worth every penny!

I have very curly, frizzy hair (3b-type hair, for those of you that have visited the naturallycurly.com web site). This is one of the best products out there that I've used that doesn't dry out my hair. A small amount leaves my hair almost frizz-free, controlled and shiny (even in the summer when it's hot and humid). You do have to experiment to find out how much to you use as too much can make your hair crunchy.

I have thin, curly hair and needed something that would tame the frizz, define the curls and hold. This stuff is great. Several times I've been tempted to try something else, in a search for what I thought would be better, but always come back to this product. One challenge for new users will be the amount to use. If too little, you get frizz; if too much, the crunchie over gelled look. Be patient and you'll find the exact balance. And remember to adjust if your hair length changes or you move to a different climate.
