I usually get severe 3-5 day headaches once a month or more which are not relieved at all by ibuprofen or acetominophen. I suffer quite greatly with these and have done many things to try and root out the cause and to alleviate them.

I found the little Homeocan Headache pellets at my health food store and tried them. You put 3 or 4 little minty-tasting pellets under your tongue and let them dissolve.

How they worked for me is that several hours later I just realized that my headache was gone. Sometimes they take up to a day to work. It is like instead of my headache getting progressively worse over the 1-3 or 5 days I have them, they instead get progressively better. Now, whenever I feel a headache coming on, I take these and they do seem to work.

I offered some to a colleague who had a headache. A few hours later I asked her how it was and she said "oh, I forgot I even had a headache!" So this is how they work! Subtle, gentle.

I can't speak for everyone, or whether or not this is just placebo, but if you suffer headaches, even migraines for the small price and the fact that there are no side-effects and they are not addictive, you have nothing to lose by trying!
