Strange, quirky pop jewels,

I play this album every few months just to make myself feel good. Most of the songs are hummable and odd at the same time, which for me is a perfect combination. Some of the songs ("Lovely Little Swan", "Got Apprehension", "Skyscrapers", "My Days Are Numbered") are really very close to being perfect pop. I give it five stars because I have played it consistently over a very long period of time - that has to mean something.

i have to agree with the other review posted here that its almost perfect pop, and like him, I also play this at least once every few months to make me feel good. since i own hundreds of cds by "better" artists, Close Lobsters will always have a special place on my shelf. ( corny...but true )
