4.0 out of 5 stars I only have the music
I don't own this product anymore per se but I do have the music. I transferred it from CD-Rom to Windows Media to Mp3
The tracks are
1. Castro Haze 2. Manilla Envelope 3. Spunk Worship 4. Beast and 5. Alloy Balcony & Jets Overhead. I have been told that Robert Fripp plays guitar on these tracks. This is Ambient or electronia music.
I know nothing of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Music is a 5 - other stuff is a 1
I purchased the CD ROM called Headcandy when it first came out. It was early in the life of PC video playback, and the psychedelic content of this was dissapointing to me. I liked the music quite a bit though.

Years later Eno released his book 'A Year With Swollen Apendices', in which he shares the sad fact that this product is one of the only regrets he's ever had professionally. I was glad to read that, and I'm glad its no longer available.

Let it go. The 'visualizations' in Windows Media Player blow it away.

The music is excellent though. I hope it is released as a music CD at some point.

I know nothing of the visuals but the Tracks Beast / Alloy Balcony & Jets Overhead are superb. "Beast"'s simplistic loud drum beats with smooth synths remind me of PiL's Flowers of Romance. Recorded random voices add to the mix.
Alloy Jets has a more complex drum stylings along with piano synths and sci-fi sounding effects. It's like a space movie soundtrack.
Whatever Eno has said of this these 2 tracks are some of his best music.
Track 1 is not bad either.
