About the Author

Stanislaw Kapuscinski, (aka Stan I.S. Law) an architect, sculptor and prolific writer, was educated in Poland and England. A refugee from Poland at 13, then at 33, having overcome numerous difficulties, he began his search for the secret of life. Now, he is a successful writer, happily married for 25 years, with an assured future. His special interests cover a broad spectrum of arts, sciences and philosophy. At times he seeks inspiration in the Peruvian Andes, or solitude under sail. His books (articles, short stories, poetry) attest to his particular passion for the scope and the development of Human Potential. He authored more than thirty books, eighteen of them novels. His non-fiction explores Ancient Myths, Biblical Symbolism, Immortality and the mystery of Visualization. Three volumes of Essays (Beyond Religion) investigate the Nature of Being. Generally, if you suspect you are more than flesh and bones, read Stan Law. If you want to be sure, read Stanislaw Kapuscinski.

Stan Law has obviously put so much time and research into this novel.
M. Brown
Even though he has threaded throughout his story the above aspects, they are easier to understand and thus follow the plot.

I never read the prequel to this books so some of the colorful characters in this book such as Ann and her talents; her husband Peter, a scientist with his great achievements; Gabriel, the mystical butler, and Ian were all new to me, including other wonderful characters that make the book what it is. This author always has metaphysics, philosophy, scientific information and common sense in his books, whether fiction or non-fiction, but in this fiction story there is also mystery, action and unconditional love. I have read several of his books, but I like this one better than the others. Even though he has threaded throughout his story the above aspects, they are easier to understand and thus follow the plot.

This story encompasses much of what is actually wrong with the world we live in, especially where politics and religion are concerned, but he allows his tale to finish with the type of world we would all love to live in. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and can’t praise it enough.

Headless World is a thrilling adventure unlike any other. In typical Stan I.S. Law fashion we are astonished by his ability to combine the mystical, religion, science and fiction in the most captivating and entertaining manner. From start to finish this story will have you in suspense, revelation and finally in awe.

Author Stan I.S. Law offers us a sequel to the Avatar Syndrome where once again we meet up with Anne and her family. This time they will be exploring a shocking power struggle. Law’s characters are fully developed lending tremendous weight to his story. Their dialogue is natural and revealing of their personalities. Law’s ability to inject humor into otherwise serious plots makes for a fun read and attachment to specific personalities. I am always impressed by the amount of detail that goes into Law’s stories allowing me to fully appreciate his vision from situations, people, places and cities. They are all vividly present in my mind.

This action packed storyline had me on the edge of my seat until arriving at a brilliant climax. I highly recommend this story and this author!

So, what do you think? Can you figure out what's going to happen from the title, the cover? Or check my blog for excerpts and more pics. The "potential" of this "blows my mind!" And I think that it would take the brilliance of this prolific writer to pull it off in this explosive "what if" from Stan Law...

This novel is a sequel to The Avatar Syndrome which was being studied at the Montreal Neurological Institute. Anne who was the violin virtuoso for just two years is now married to Dr. Peter Brown and traveling quite a bit in her new mystical role...

Peter has been appointed head of the department and has been involved in sonic neurology research. As with other activities happening at the Institute, much acclaim and support is being given, with Dr. Brown gaining more and more of a reputation.

So, of course, somebody who wants to consider their own desires starts considering what they could do with this new "potential..." This time the Vice-President of the United States is the interested party. John Linker was the real power in Washington, while the President was the "front..." Linker already had a Plan. And he had a small group of close confidants they called "The Bridge Club" who would implement that Plan, just as soon as the time was right...

Peter wasn't the least bit interested in what the VP wanted, which didn't surprise him! But when his boss was contacted and offered billions of dollars... The Vice-President wanted Peter Brown to come to Washington and work, using his latest discovery to determine whether it could be of help to those men and women who had developed PTSD...

When he got there, Brown was given a slightly different direction.

Stan Law is the master of visionary fiction, and with Headless World he has outdone even his own previous tours de force. An audaciously complex plot involves American power hunger, the venality of politicians, the courage of characters whose special gifts make the difference between doom and redemption, and an ingenious twist that keeps you turning pages with a fast-beating heart. The author's intellectual range and exquisitely poetic descriptions make his work always exceed your expectations. This is a book not to be missed nor rushed through but savored. Every line is a gift.
