I puchased this a couple of weeks ago and recently had them installed in a BMW X3 (SUV). These are a great value for aftermarket dvd players, I did a lot of review/research and nothing beat this deal. They look and play great; I'm sure they will get a ton of quality viewing time for the kids and hopefully a little bit of peace for the parents in the front seat. I tried out the game feature and they are pretty old school, I wouldn't expect these to entertain serious gamer type kids for very long, but it's a nice added feature that most didn't have. Product also comes with a remote control which is a nice if you have little ones that can't operate the video's on their own. I'm not a handy person, so I called around for installation and in my area (SF) labor is pretty expensive (I had several quotes for $250); so I purchased an installation card from Crutchfield for $160. I would recommend this option if you're like me, they will hook you up with a local install shop and mine turned out very professional. My only minor ding about the product is the post of the headrest are smaller than the factory post so the shop had to compensate for that, basically using electrically tape to make the product snug. Anyway overall I was able to get a really nice DVD system for a excellent price and very happy with the purchase.

Pros: picture & the sound quality is nice; games are good enough to keep kids entertained; can play 2 different movies at same time or the same movie; leather headrest; color matches car interior (looks like factory headrest); comfortable.

Cons: post a little too skinny; headsets are cheap, come apart too easy; now one of the screens won't stay closed, we actually have to tape it down so that movies play; can't play games head-to-head.

First I am satisfied with the delivery time, all in the box, in perfect condition, the product now, I am impressed by the price did not think to get as much quality. the excellent video, very easy installation, I made myself, and accessories, headphones work very well and provide privacy, and play games a bit archaic but I think it would be a plus, as I think it's more than expected by the price. congratulations

I install these monitors in the car and the sound and screen are perfect... i am so glad to have buy this product.. i recommended.. my boy can play all the time in the car meanwhile i drive.. its perfect for children.

I bought these before a trip to Wisconsin last year with a three year old who needed something help pass the time. This wasn't bad, but the wiring is a little strange. I couldn't wire it directly into anything because my vehicle is leased. I ended up buying a plug (cigarette lighter plug) and wiring the DVD player to that, which worked OK. Sometimes the wires would be loose--sometimes the plug would fall out. Kind of annoying. She managed to watch Curious George a couple more times, but every once in a while we'd be reminded that this was not a great deal.
